AristaCare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in New Jersey to assist the Director of Nursing in leading a clinical team and delivering high-quality resident care. Primary responsibilities include infection control coordination, staff training, compliance, and staffing oversight.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and ensuring patient-centered care within a long-term care setting. A RN license in NJ is required, with preferred supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in NJ.
• Five years of nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Three years of supervisory experience in long-term care/sub-acute setting preferred.
• Infection control: 1 year experience preferred.
• Must be computer literate; EMR experience preferred.
• Completion of IP Course within 3–6 months of hire expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the utmost quality and patient-centered care of residents.
• Coordinate infection control.
• Plan, organize, and implement training programs/in-services for clinical staff.
• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing of the facility nursing department; may include recruitment.
• Oversee competency evaluations and corrective action plans.

• Must be computer literate and experience with EMR preferred
• Completion of IP Course within 3-6 months of hire would be expected.
