Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 1+ year of leadership in long-term care.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the daily operations of the Nursing Services Department.
• Interview and screen residents for admission.
• Review nurses' notes for documentation of treatments and resident conditions.
• Conduct daily rounds to observe resident care and identify needs.
• Communicate with physicians and visit residents regularly.
• Assist the MDS/Care Plan Coordinator with planning, scheduling, and revising MDS assessments, including RAPs and triggers.
