Job summary

Meadow View Nursing Center in Berlin, PA is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON) - RN to help the Director of Nursing deliver high‑quality care and maintain regulatory compliance in a compassionate, safe environment.

The ADON will supervise nursing staff, develop and implement resident care plans, monitor outcomes, support training, ensure accurate documentation, and participate in quality assurance and infection control initiatives to uphold the facility's reputation.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in long‑term care or geriatric settings.
• Basic knowledge of nursing management and healthcare regulations applicable to nursing homes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on‑call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations and staff supervision.
• Coordinate and participate in the development and implementation of resident care plans.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical support and guidance to nursing staff, including training and performance evaluations.
• Monitor resident health status, respond to changes, and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize care.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing activities and resident records.
• Support emergency preparedness and infection control protocols within the nursing department.
