Holy Family Medical Center- LTACH in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time Nights to deliver safe patient care in a Surgical/Acute Medical unit. The RN will follow the nursing process, provide patient education, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to adjust care plans as needed.

Qualifications include an active RN license, BLS on hire, ACLS within 30 days (preferred), with Acute Care hospital and ventilator management experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification at hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained (preferred).
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient and family teaching, and supervise other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition, diagnostic results and treatment response.
