Job summary

Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift on our Medical-Surgical unit.

The RN will provide safe patient care using the nursing process, support patient/family teaching, and collaborate with physicians. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Current state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and ventilator management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Direct patient care within the scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate changes with physicians, monitor cardiac status and diagnostic results.
