Job summary

Holy Family Medical Center - LTACH in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a dedicated LPN for full-time days (7:00am–7:30pm) with alternating weekends. A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available for qualified candidates, with responsibilities under RN supervision to deliver direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical unit.

Requirements: High School Diploma, LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications within 90 days, current BLS, and healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services under RN supervision.
• Maintain safety, patient comfort and improve overall patient experience in the medical-surgical setting.
