Job summary

Holy Family Medical Center- LTACH in Des Plaines, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Critical Care Unit. The role features 7a-7p shifts, full-time days, and rotating weekends/holidays in a compassionate, team-centered environment.

You’ll provide high‑quality ICU care, collaborate with physicians and staff, and support patient/family teaching while maintaining privacy and safety standards. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate and maintain current.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• CCRN Certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in ICU.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
