HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Freestanding ER Wekiva location. You will collaborate with providers, translate medical information, and support patient families to ensure safety and excellent outcomes.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (or multistate), 1+ year acute care experience, and certifications including BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC, ACLS/PALS within the specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation
• 1+ years experience as RN in acute care environment
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• TNCC required within 6 months at Main ER
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Support, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Responsabilités

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s) and document care promptly
• Respond to patient requests promptly and provide anticipatory, proactive service
• Educate patients/families/caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications and follow-up measures
• Explain non-medicinal follow-up measures such as diet and exercise and help patients prepare for self-management
