HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with providers, teach patients and families, and support care teams to achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, a relevant degree, and certifications (ACLS/BCLS/PALS) within defined timelines, with no travel and at least 1 year of experience. Join us to contribute to a leading North Central Florida hospital.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications must be obtained within specified timelines.
• RN license is required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree or RN Diploma is required.
• No travel required.
• 1 year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and performs reassessments as needed.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider and documents care promptly.
• Responds to patient requests and anticipates needs to provide exceptional care.
• Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures in understandable terms.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures including diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes, and prepares for self-management.
