Job summary

Kindred Hospital Westminster is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care across the nursing process. The role includes care planning, collaborative discharge planning, and communicating changes in patient condition to physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Registered Nurse (RN) – state licensure in practice.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) – required.
• ACLS – preferred for hire.
• Postsecondary nursing education required (certificate/diploma).

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates nursing care provided to patients.
• Administers medication utilizing the five rights of medication administration.
• Performs discharge planning and collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
