Kindred Hospital Westminster is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in an ICU/critical care setting. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure accurate medication administration and documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on patient age and condition.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care to critically ill patients using the nursing process.
• Supervises nursing care provided to each patient by other caregivers.
• Coordinates with patient, family and staff of other disciplines to develop the care plan.
• Administers medications with knowledge of action, side effects, and dosages.
• Ensures documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Assists with or initiates emergency measures as needed.
• Participates in discharge planning and patient education.
