Job summary

Kindred Hospital Westminster is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting. The role emphasizes the nursing process, interdisciplinary collaboration, and discharge planning in a 109-bed facility just outside downtown Westminster.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing license in the state of practice, reads and writes fluent English, and brings 6 months of medical-surgical experience or related competencies to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Six months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience (preferred).
• RN licensure in state of practice (required upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
• Develop and coordinate patient care plans with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians, supervisors and team.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
• Supervise and delegate nursing care tasks within scope and staff capabilities.

Education

Postsecondary certificate, diploma, or program graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
