Job summary

ScionHealth, through its Kindred Westminster facility, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a 109-bed LTAC. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and collaboration with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a nursing credential, valid licensure, BLS, and preferable ACLS. This on-site position offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary nursing program graduation is required.
• State RN licensure required upon hire.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of acute care or medical/surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care.
• Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family, and staff.
• Documents patient assessments and care plans in the medical record.
• Assists with discharge planning and transitions of care.
• Administers medications following the five rights and hospital policy.
• Collaborates with physicians, nursing supervisors, and interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains nursing standards and safety to minimize errors.
