Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Support Team (Float Pool) for 12-hour night shifts across Boise and Nampa locations. You will provide compassionate nursing care, assess patients, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams in a Level II Trauma Center in Boise and Level III Trauma Center in Nampa.

Qualifications

• Licensed Idaho RN or multistate license
• Multistate license requires Idaho residency within 6 months of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to a diverse patient population across units
• Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments to guide care
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans to promote optimal outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely, monitoring progress and changes
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and transitions of care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers and staff to deliver coordinated care
• Document patient status and plans clearly and timely in the medical record
