Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Clinical Float Pool. The position is part-time, 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am), and temporary PRN with a varied schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

You will support clinical staff at the unit level, perform nursing and non-professional care tasks under supervision, and help care for multiple age groups.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification issued by the State of Idaho or completion of the Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required at hire, unless ACLS/PALS are already current.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to care for neonate to geriatric patient populations as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level with clerical and patient service coordination.
• Provide nursing care services and related non-professional tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Assist in various units across the hospital as part of the float pool.
