Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Clinical Float Pool. The role supports many hospital areas, requires a proactive, teachable attitude, and involves two 12-hour night shifts weekly with flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.

Eligibility includes Idaho CNA certification or Trinity Health program completion and BLS at hire. Prior acute care CNA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by the State of Idaho or completion of Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire in all units.
• Six months CNA experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level with clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
• Provide nursing care and related non-professional services under the direction of a licensed nurse.
