Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to join the Trauma General Surgery Unit. This 32-bed step-down unit cares for patients across acute surgical and minor trauma cases, with a three 12-hour night shift schedule (7pm–7am) and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed registered nurse with Idaho residency within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required; ACLS/PALS may be accepted in lieu of ACLS/PALS.
• Experience in trauma/general surgery and acute care settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for surgical and trauma patients in collaboration with the care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; educate patients and families; participate in care conferences.
