Job summary

Priority Management is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our long-term care team at Legacy at Town Creek in Palestine, TX. The clinician will deliver compassionate resident care on a 6am-6pm shift, with every other weekend off, collaborating with medical leadership to ensure quality outcomes.

You will work closely with the Medical Director and nursing staff to plan and implement care, support resident evaluations, and mentor team members while maintaining

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN or LPN license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.
• Shift: 6am-6pm; every other weekend off.

Responsibilities

• Conferring with the Medical Director and attending physician regarding residents assigned to you.
• Consulting with physicians regarding resident evaluation and assisting in planning nursing services.
• Helping team members grow professionally and support resident care initiatives.
• Examining residents and chart records to identify normal vs. abnormal findings for early problem detection.
• Completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting for assigned residents.

What You’ll be Doing

• Conferring with the Medical Director and the attending physician regarding specific residents assigned to you.
• Consulting with the physician concerning resident evaluation and assist the Director of Nursing in planning and developing the nursing services to be performed for the resident.
• Helping your team members grow their careers—you will change lives!
• Examining residents and their records and charts to distinguish between normal and abnormal findings in order to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional or mental problems.
• Performing administrative duties regarding assigned residents, such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.

Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
