Job summary

Legacy at Town Creek in Palestine, TX is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our caring team. You will work under the guidance of a supportive DON, ADON, and skilled clinical staff to deliver high-quality resident care.

You’ll collaborate with the Medical Director and attending physician on resident care, help plan nursing services, mentor teammates, review charts for early changes, and handle essential administrative forms and reports.

Qualifications

• Must have a current LPN/LVN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to work 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am shifts, with every other weekend off.

Responsibilities

• Conferring with the Medical Director and attending physician regarding residents assigned to you.
• Consulting with the physician concerning resident evaluation and assist the Director of Nursing in planning and developing nursing services.
• Helping your team members grow their careers—you will change lives!
• Examining residents and their records to distinguish between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early problems.
• Performing administrative duties regarding assigned residents, such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.

What You’ll be Doing
