Job summary

Priority Management is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time role in Palestine, TX. The position involves 6a-6p or 6p-6a shifts with every other weekend off, and requires dedication to compassionate patient care in our resident-focused team.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, following nurse assignments, and ensuring safety and comfort. Training and benefits are provided to support our caregivers and residents alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have current Texas Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner.
• Assist or feed residents.
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care.
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
• Other duties as assigned.
