Job summary

Asbury Solomons in Solomons, MD is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide individualized resident care, with attention to physical, emotional, spiritual and psychosocial needs. You will coordinate orders, notify physicians of changes, lead CNAs and LPNs, complete admissions paperwork, and administer medications, all while upholding state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience in medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatrics.
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides care that is individualized and meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Obtains and transcribes all written and telephone orders promptly ensuring telephone order forms are complete.
• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.
• Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.
• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.

Job Description
