Job summary

Asbury Solomons in Maryland is seeking an LPN to participate in care planning, monitor residents, and assist with physician orders and MAR updates. The role supports safe nurse-to-resident ratios in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatrics nursing preferred.
• Current Maryland LPN License.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in care planning and updates for changes in condition.
• Completes MAR and treatment records with monitoring indicators.
• Ensures required lab values are obtained for drug monitoring.
• Obtains physician orders for new residents and completes orders.
• Completes daily rounds to monitor residents and environment.
• Communicates significant changes to the primary care physician.

Job Description

• Participates in care planning process and updates for change in condition.
• Completes MAR & treatment record, assuring drug monitoring indicators are identified.
• Assures required lab values are obtained for drug monitoring as recommended by RX.
• Obtains physicians' orders on new residents and completes physicians' order sheet and assessments
• Makes daily rounds to be aware of residents' condisions and enviroment.
• Informs primary care physician of significant changes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one yearexperience in medical/surgical, rehab, or geriatrics nursing, or significant medical/surgical clinical experience during schooling is preferred.
• Current Maryland LPN License
• Current CPR Certification
