Job summary

Asbury Springhill in Erie, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized care to residents and support a compassionate team. You will manage orders, monitor resident status, lead CNAs/LPNs, and handle admissions paperwork, medication administration, and treatments.

Responsibilities

• Provides care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Obtains and transcribes orders promptly.
• Notifies physician of changes in resident status.
• Provides leadership to CNAs and LPNs, ensuring policies and regulations are followed.
• Completes new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.

  • Every Other Weekend: 6:30am-7pm
  • Weekday shifts: 8-hour shifts available on either 1st or 2nd shift

Job Description

• Notifies physician and responsible party of changes in resident status.
• Provides leadership and guidance to CNAs and LPNs; ensures that all policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations are practiced.
• Completes all new admissions paperwork timely, including nursing assessment.
• Prepares and administers medications and treatments as needed.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical, Rehab, or Geriatric Nursing
• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License
• Current CPR Certification
