Job summary

Asbury Springhill in Pennsylvania is seeking a compassionate CNA to assist residents with daily living activities, transport to medical appointments, and related care in a supportive team setting.

Choose flexible 8- or 12-hour shifts with full-time, part-time, and PRN options; starting wage is $18.25 per hour, with base-rate increases tied to CNA experience. Daily pay and weekend premiums are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active CNA license in Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene).
• Assist with transportation to appointments, activities, and programs.
• Check vital signs, record data, report variances to Charge Nurse.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and monitor those unable to call.
• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed.
• Assist residents to walk with/without self-help devices.

Hours & Pay

• Choose your schedule: Flexible 8- & 12-hour shifts

• STARTING: $18.25/hr **Base rate increases with CNA experience**
• Daily Pay Available

Weekender Program

• $18.25 base rate + Shift Differential + $5.0/hour Weekender Premium for each weekend hour worked (up to 32 hours).
• Weekend Schedule: Day or Night shift on SAT AND SUN + 1 Shift ( 8 hour) during the week
• Up to 3 non-consecutive scheduled or unscheduled weekends off per six-month period.

Job Description

• Assists residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Assists residents in preparing for and transporting to and from medical appointments, activities, and social programs.
• Checks residents' vital signs, measures weight and height, and records data as instructed; reports any variances to Charge Nurse.
• Answers resident call lights promptly to attend to needs; frequently checks those who are unable to call for help.
• Performs restorative and rehabilitative procedures, as instructed.
• Assists residents to walk with or without self-help devices, as instructed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or combination of school and experience.
• Active CNA license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Current CPR certification.
