Job summary

St. James Manor & Villas in Crete, IL is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our compassionate care team.

This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and the chance to participate in CMS Nurses for Nursing Homes incentives, with up to $50,000 in financial assistance. You will oversee nursing staff, assess residents, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians and families to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (IL).
• Ability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct nursing staff, including LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Assess residents' health conditions and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes in health status.
• Complete accurate resident documentation, assessments, and clinical charting.
• Conduct daily rounds and prioritize resident care.
• Coordinate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and well-being.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and state/federal regulations.

Eligible nurses may qualify through the CMS Nurses for Nursing Homes program for:

• Up to $40,000 in student loan repayment.
• Up to $10,000 in additional stipend assistance.

Eligible candidates must meet program requirements, including working at least 30 hours per week and committing to three years of service.

RN Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid, active state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
