General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. in Groton, CT is seeking an IT Environment Manager to coordinate and secure all non-production environments (dev, test, staging) while aligning with production to enable continuous delivery.

You will drive environment governance, release scheduling, and configuration management, pursuing automation and reduced technical debt, with strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel and Service-Now is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret DoD clearance.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all technical environments (development, test, stage, production), ensuring they are stable, scalable, and secure.
• Act as central point for environment refresh and patch scheduling and coordinating with the release management team.
• Maintain consistency across environment stacks, and prevent configuration drift.
• Drive the transition from manual setup to automated processing wherever possible.
• Resolve competing demands from various project teams for limited environment resources.
• Contribute to real-time monitoring and alerting for environment availability and performance; lead resolution for bottlenecks.
• Manage test data provisioning, ensuring environments can be returned to a known state before testing.
• Liaise with project managers, Development Leads, and Release Management teams to communicate environment availability and risks.
