Job summary

JLL in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an RME Operator to maintain and repair high‑speed packaging and distribution systems. You will work with robotics, conveyors, and automation equipment to keep operations efficient and safe, with hands‑on learning and mentorship from seasoned technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years PC software experience including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Vocational/technical training or an associate degree, OR 1+ years of RME experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Knowledge of mathematics and measurement interpretation.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to enroll in and attend a 9-week training program at designated providers.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyance equipment using established plans and manuals.
• Troubleshoot robotics and robotic work cells to maintain equipment availability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in material handling equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, sensors, relays, solenoids, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with journey workers and coordinate with upstream/downstream operations partners.
• Complete work using technical documents and safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive reliability.
