Job summary

JLL is seeking an RME Operator to support client operations by maintaining high-performance packaging and distribution equipment. You will combine electronic, mechanical, computer, and automation skills to keep complex systems running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot robotics and material handling equipment, and collaborate with journey workers to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years PC software experience (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or 1+ years RME experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items.
• Knowledge of mathematics and measurement interpretation.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Eligible to enroll in a 9-week training program at designated providers.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while following safety policies.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyance systems to ensure performance.
• Troubleshoot robotics and work cells to maintain equipment availability.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues in material handling components to minimize downtime.
• Maintain motors, sensors, relays, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with journey workers and coordinate with upstream/downstream teams.
• Complete work per technical documents and safety regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement for reliability and efficiency.
• Stand and move in a manufacturing environment; lift up to 49 pounds as needed.
