Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a proactive Risk Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a premier long-term care facility in a coastal New York community.

The role leads clinical quality, risk mitigation, and DOH reporting with a focus on resident safety and regulatory readiness. Responsibilities include directing incident investigations, coordinating with the Director of Nursing, performing root-cause analyses, and training staff on safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• 3+ years RN experience in a long-term care facility.
• Prior ADON, Risk Manager or Quality role in long-term care.
• Deep understanding of DOH reporting mandates and surveys.

Responsabilités

• Direct investigation and DOH reporting of all accidents and incidents.
• Oversee nursing operations with the DON to maintain quality.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement action plans.
• Ensure compliance with DOH and state survey readiness.
• Educate staff on safety, risk reduction, and incident documentation.
