Job summary

United Future in New York is seeking a proactive Risk Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead clinical quality and risk mitigation within a premier long-term care facility. Direct experience investigating, managing, and submitting accident and incident reportables to the Department of Health (DOH) is strictly required.

As a senior clinical leader, you will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily nursing operations, maintain high quality standards, and ensure DOH

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Hands-on experience submitting accident and incident reportables to DOH.
• 3+ years RN experience in long-term care; prior ADON or related role.
• Strong knowledge of DOH reporting mandates and state surveys.

Responsibilities

• Direct investigation and reporting of all facility accidents and incidents to DOH.
• Oversee nursing operations with the DON to ensure high clinical quality.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with DOH and other regulations; lead survey readiness.
• Educate and train staff on safety and documentation.
