Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a seasoned Risk Manager to join our project controls team in the United States. You will lead risk identification, cost and schedule risk assessments, and collaborate with contractors and clients on complex data center, infrastructure, and energy projects.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in program controls, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency with ARM, Predict and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of applicable experience.
• Experience in Program Management or Program Controls environment.
• Deep knowledge and experience with risk identification, facilitation and techniques.
• Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
• In-depth understanding of construction contracts, commercial models, and delivery methods.
• Familiarity with web-based database tools – ARM, Predict, Tableau
• Highly self-motivated, analytical, and customer centric.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling and retirement of items.
• Produce risk reports to inform stakeholders and communicate status.
• Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform contingency levels.
• Lead and integrate risk management with program controls, cost and schedule.
• Collaborate with contractors on risks and client-held risks affecting them.
• Establish risk management plans and processes per client requirements.
• Undertake end-to-end project risk management on multiple projects/programs.
• Create value stream maps to identify improvements and reduce waste.
• Support supplier performance management with metrics and improvement actions.
• Assist with disputes and contractual risk guidance as needed.
