Mortenson is seeking a Risk Management Intern for the summer of 2027 to assist the risk team with insurance coordination, program operations, and data analysis. You’ll work on project risk, CCIP exposure, and claim trend analysis while collaborating across teams and building foundational construction risk knowledge.

You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting insurance reviews, data visualization, and reporting, with guidance from experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate four-year degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Actuarial Science or other related degree
• Demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills and show initiative and leadership
• Have an interest in construction and general business practices

Responsabilidades

• Support Risk Analysts in evaluating project risk and insurance requirements
• Assist with reviewing and tracking trade partner insurance certificates
• Help with communicating requirements to project teams, external customers, and insurance agents
• Support Mortenson’s property & casualty insurance program
• Visualize data in Power BI or Excel
• Assist with data analysis to identify claim trends
• Learn how risk management tools protect construction projects from loss
• Assist with claims data entry and review
