Job summary

Marsh invites you to join the Risk Early Career Program as a Summer Intern, a 10-week experience where you will work with senior advisors and brokers to help clients identify risks and support risk management and insurance broking.

As part of the program, you will have access to mentorship, a dedicated program team, and opportunities to present your capstone project to senior leadership. The internship offers a hybrid work model across Atlanta, Boston, Miami, and Washington DC.

Qualifications

• Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, or another STEM-related or Business-related major.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationships with people from different backgrounds and perspectives.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with researching industry trends, market developments, and other topics that may help inform client or team discussions.
• Collaborate with brokers and other team members to support communication, coordination with clients and internal partners.
• Support day-to-day projects and assignments while developing knowledge of insurance markets, client service, and risk management.
• Participate in team meetings, client discussions, and other learning opportunities to gain exposure to the insurance broking process.
• Contribute to special projects and team initiatives throughout the internship.
