Job summary

Marsh is launching its Risk Early Career Program with a Summer Intern role in Brokerage - West Market in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle. The 10-week program pairs interns with senior advisors and brokers to explore risk management and insurance broking, culminating in a capstone presentation.

Interns will participate in hands-on projects, mentorship, and development opportunities, with a hybrid work model requiring at least three days in the office each week.

Qualifications

• When applying, you are expected to be pursuing a bachelor’s degree and have a clear graduation window (Fall 2027 – Spring 2028).
• You must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
• You should be able to communicate effectively and build relationships across diverse teams.
• You must have legal work authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with research on industry trends, market developments, and client discussions.
• Collaborate with brokers and team members to support client communications and coordination.
• Support day-to-day projects while developing knowledge of insurance markets and risk management.
• Participate in team meetings, client discussions, and learning opportunities to gain exposure to the broking process.
• Contribute to special projects and team initiatives throughout the internship.
