Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Dallas seeks a Risk Framework, Governance and Regulatory Engagement Lead to strengthen the third-party risk management framework, governance standards, policy alignment, and regulatory-ready execution across the third-party lifecycle.

The role designs risk controls and governance routines, leveraging AI-enabled analytics and automation to identify risk patterns, ensure regulatory alignment, and drive governance across platforms and business units.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience driving regulatory and governance initiatives and enterprise-wide project delivery.
Deep understanding of third-party risk management, outsourcing risks, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring.
Ability to translate regulatory expectations into practical controls and governance processes.

Responsibilities

Own and continuously improve the third-party risk management framework, including risk tiering, materiality, applicability criteria, inherent and residual risk, due diligence, continuous monitoring, controls, and coverage.
Design appropriately sized controls for operational resilience and critical services, aligned with regulatory expectations.
Strengthen governance with clear decision rights, committees, escalation protocols, policy alignment, and senior management reporting.
Utilize AI-enabled analytics and automation to identify risk patterns, policy gaps, and opportunities to streamline due diligence.
Partner with platform, data, reporting, analytics, technology, and operations teams to embed methodology, governance requirements, controls, and escalation rules.
Oversee training, procedures, job aids, and knowledge materials to ensure alignment to policy and platform changes.
