Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Dallas seeks a Risk Framework, Governance and Regulatory Engagement Lead to define and strengthen the third-party risk management framework, governance standards, policy alignment, and regulatory-ready execution across the third-party lifecycle.

You will own improvements, design controls for resilience, and lead with AI analytics and cross-functional collaboration to embed governance into automated workflows and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years driving strategic programs and regulatory/governance initiatives.
  • Experience designing or improving risk frameworks, governance routines, policy requirements, and escalation models.
  • Proficiency with AI, analytics, automation to improve risk identification and process efficiency.
  • Ability to translate regulatory expectations into practical controls, procedures, and training content.
  • Strong executive communication and influencing skills across regions and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve the third-party risk management framework, including risk tiering, materiality, and due diligence standards.
  • Design right-sized controls for operational resilience, critical services, and emerging risk areas.
  • Strengthen governance with clear decision rights, committee routines, escalation protocols, and management reporting.
  • Use AI-enabled analytics to identify risk patterns, policy gaps, and opportunities to simplify due diligence.
  • Partner with platform, data, reporting, analytics, technology, and operations teams to embed governance into automated workflows and reporting.
  • Oversee training, procedures, and knowledge materials to keep them aligned to policy and regulatory expectations.
