Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Risk Coordinator to support the Patient Safety/Risk Director in coordinating the facility’s patient safety program and PSO compliance. The role will drive disease-response initiatives and service recovery while coordinating facility-wide process improvement efforts to reduce medical errors and adverse patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates should have RN credentials, an Associate Degree, and CPPS/ASHRM/CPHQ certifications, with at least 3 years of

Responsibilities

• Assist the facility’s Patient Safety/Risk Director with the coordination of the patient safety program.
• Support PSO (Patient Safety Organization) compliance efforts.
• Coordinate disease-response initiatives and service recovery to reduce medical errors.
• Lead facility-wide process-improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Coordinator assists the facility’s Patient Safety/Risk Director with coordination of the facility-wide patient safety program, PSO compliance, disease-response initiatives, and Service Recovery. This role will coordinate process improvement initiatives facility-wide in support of the reduction of medical/health care errors and other factors that contribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes.

What qualifications you will need:

• (RN) Registered Nurse

• CPPS, ASHRM, and/or CPHQ certification
• 3 years experience of hospital experience is required
