Job summary

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital, a 280-bed acute care facility in West Palm Beach, FL, seeks a Risk Management Coordinator to join our quality and safety-focused team. You will participate in performance program evaluation, oversee infection prevention efforts, and drive improvement projects across the organization.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in a healthcare field, nursing licensure or related certification, CPR, and at least 3 years in healthcare with 2 years in quality management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare-related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensure as RN, LPN, or Clinical Social Worker, or certification in field required.
• CPR and facility approved de-escalation training within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of health care clinical experience; 2 years in quality management.
• Experience with behavioral health quality measures and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance program evaluation with oversight including Infection Prevention.
• Monitors and analyzes improvement project needs and issues that could impact success.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Behavioral Health Quality Coordinator participates in performance program evaluation, with oversite including Infection Prevention. The Quality Coordinator monitors and analyzes improvement project needs, issues, problems that could impact success. The Quality Coordinator acts as the organizational expert in team efficiency, problem identification, problem solving, improvement measurement and tracking.

What qualifications you will need:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field, required. Master’s degree preferred. Licensure: Licensure (Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Clinical Social Worker) or certification in field required Certification:

CPR, facility approved de-escalation training within 30 days of hire

Experience: Working knowledge of collection of healthcare data and performance improvement tools and methodology.

Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral health quality measures and patient safety

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of health care clinical experience, required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in quality management, required
