Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL, seeks a Manager Med Surg to plan, organize, staff and direct nursing operations on the unit, ensuring quality patient care. In collaboration with the leadership team, you will develop policies and procedures to support efficient, compassionate care delivery.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN in Florida, with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), current BLS and ACLS, and 3+ years of acute care nursing leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state you practice or hold Compact/Multi-State RN License.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• A current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
• 3+ years of acute care nursing leadership/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff and direct functions to ensure effective unit operation.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop plans, policies and procedures for quality care.
• Provide guidance to support teams to deliver respectful, compassionate patient care.
• Lead in developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Manager Med Surg is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the unit.
