Job summary

Fogelman in Memphis seeks a Risk & Compliance Specialist to protect assets and mitigate risk across claims, regulatory compliance, crisis management, contract review, and operations support. The role coordinates with Investment Management, Property Services, and Corporate functions, working with brokers, consultants, internal stakeholders, JV partners, lenders, and outside counsel.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field and has 3–5 years in claims or risk management;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in claims or risk management, or corporate legal/compliance.
• Experience in real estate or property management strongly preferred; paralegal certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and leases and monitor property management obligations.
• Evaluate liability claims and coordinate with adjusters and attorneys.
• Manage crises and prepare communications and responses with Marketing.
• Develop action plans from site information and monitor issues.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and handle Fair Housing inquiries.
• Support renter insurance and related programs.
