Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in Atlanta offers an 8-week Summer Internship Program designed as the primary pipeline into our Graduate Development Program. Interns gain hands-on experience with world-class clients in the insurance industry and work alongside senior leadership.

Interns are aligned to a specialized business area, build a technical foundation, complete meaningful work assignments, and participate in mentorship, training, case studies, networking events, and formal reviews.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program with a target graduation date of May 2027.
• Eligible candidates must be going into their senior year in Fall 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 and above.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship.
• WTW's hybrid environment with in-office and remote days (3 days in office during internship).

Responsibilities

• Gather information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks to support the placement of client risks into the market.
• Create Loss Summaries, review program binders for accuracy, check policies, and aid brokers & senior brokers
• Assist on any deliverables for Client Renewal Strategy Meeting & RFPs
• Research market solutions to learn how to identify and develop optimum risk solutions for clients.
• Initial introductions to carrier / trading partners
• Begin understanding of core insurance principles and brokerage concepts
• Ensure that quality and compliance procedures and processes are adhered to.
• Record and maintain all information accurately on the appropriate systems, including initial introduction to and utilization of Broking Platform.
• Demonstration of strong time and task management skills
• Ability to take direction, receive constructive feedback and deliver accurate work product
• Relationship management and customer focus; ability to interface with customers and collaborate internally with teammates to serve customers
