Job summary

WTW’s Summer Internship Program serves as the primary pipeline into our GDP. It targets university students about one year from completing their bachelor’s degree and runs for 8 weeks, pairing interns with world-class clients in the insurance sector.

Interns align to a specialized business area, engage in meaningful assignments, and participate in mentoring, training, case studies and networking. The program includes orientation, goal setting and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with target graduation May 2028
• Preferred majors listed include Risk Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting
• Eligible candidates must be entering their senior year Fall 2028
• Minimum GPA 3.0 or above
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills in finance or economics
• Proficient PowerPoint and MS Word; ability to create client deliverables
• Basic understanding of insurance and risk concepts
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Hybrid working environment with some in-office time, 3 days/week in office during internship

Responsibilities

• Work with colleagues at all levels and learn from senior leadership
• Exposure to client accounts from Fortune 500 to local businesses
• Collaborate with intern class on priority projects
• Support development and implementation of new strategies and products
• Gain insight into organizational roles and present duties
• Structured orientation and ongoing development opportunities
• Learn and apply WTW analytic models
• Develop both soft and hard professional skills through training
