Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in Chicago, IL is seeking an actuarial intern in our Life division. You will work on projects spanning product development, financial and risk management, financial modeling and software implementation, with exposure to insurance operations and credentialed actuaries.

The internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship from top consultants, and opportunities to advance actuarial credentials while contributing to client engagements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with quantitative coursework.
• GPA of at least 3.0.
• Actuarial exams highly preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• On-site role with some remote days as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing, valuation and development of insurance products.
• Develop financial projections for clients’ insurance business.
• Follow the firm’s Excellence guidelines.
• Pursue learning opportunities and progress toward actuarial credentials.
• Build relationships with internal teams and client representatives.
• Document, review and present your work.
• Create detailed project plans.
• Monitor progress against deadlines and budget.
