Job summary

Marsh is offering the Risk Early Career Program in New York with a July 2027 start. This two-year Associate Broker development role is hybrid, requiring at least three days in the office each week, and provides structured onboarding, mentorship and exposure to senior leaders.

You should graduate Fall 2026 to Spring 2027 with a business-, economics-, finance- or related degree, have strong communication and relationship-building skills, and be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Graduation date between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, or another STEM‑related or Business‑related major
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and building positive relationships with the ability to communicate effectively across different audiences
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S on a permanent and ongoing basis without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and Brokers to create innovative strategies and marketing plans for renewing current business and attracting new opportunities.
• Evaluate insurance quotes and compare coverage offerings for our clients.
• Negotiate terms and coverages with underwriters.
• Create and expand benchmarking reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and global insurance markets.
• Prepare presentations for client and or prospect/meetings.
• Develop and present internal and external renewal strategy documents.
• Work closely with senior colleagues on high-level projects.
