Job summary

Marsh invites graduates to join the Risk Early Career Program as an Associate Broker, a two-year development track across the US with roles in Chicago, Dallas, and Houston. The program blends in-office collaboration with flexible learning resources and mentorship from senior leaders.

The role focuses on evaluating quotes, negotiating coverage, and building client relationships within Marsh's Brokerage Practice.

Qualifications

• Graduation date between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, or another STEM-related or Business-related major
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and building positive relationships with the ability to communicate effectively across different audiences
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future; must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and Brokers to create innovative strategies and marketing plans for renewing current business and attracting new opportunities.
• Evaluate insurance quotes and compare coverage offerings for our clients.
• Negotiate terms and coverages with underwriters.
• Create and expand benchmarking reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and global insurance markets.
• Prepare presentations for client and/or meetings.
• Develop and present internal and external renewal strategy documents.
• Work closely with senior colleagues on high-level projects.
