Job summary

Marsh is seeking an Associate Broker for its Risk Early Career Program based in San Francisco or Seattle. This two-year development track begins July 2027 and requires a hybrid schedule with at least three days in the office each week.

You will collaborate with Account Executives and Brokers to renew and grow client business, evaluate quotes, negotiate with underwriters, and develop client-facing renewal materials while building relationships across markets.

Qualifications

• Graduation date between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Finance, Risk Management and Insurance, or related major.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis (citizen or green card).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives and Brokers to create strategies and marketing plans for renewing current business and attracting new opportunities.
• Evaluate insurance quotes and comparing coverage offerings for our clients.
• Negotiate terms and coverages with underwriters.
• Create and expanding benchmarking reports.
• Develop and maintaining relationships with clients and global insurance markets.
• Prepare presentations for client and/or prospect meetings.
• Develop and presenting internal and external renewal strategy documents.
• Work closely with senior colleagues on high-level projects.
