Goldman Sachs is seeking a professional to join the GBM Private Non-Financial Risk Management team to help manage and improve risk profiles across strategic, operational, and compliance areas. You will analyze key risks, respond to emerging threats, and apply AI-driven tools to enhance monitoring and reporting for leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in non-financial risk disciplines such as operational risk, enterprise risk, or compliance is preferred.
• Strong risk and control mindset with curiosity about how risks arise and how controls can be improved.
• Analytical skills; quick learner of new business and system processes.
• Team-oriented with ownership and accountability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across stakeholders.
• Experience with automation tools or AI/machine learning in risk management is a plus.
• 1–3 years of professional experience in risk management or related control function.
• 4-year degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report key risk metrics and use automation/AI to improve risk analytics.
• Prepare risk management conclusions and present to GBM senior management.
• Assess incidents, understand residual risks, and work with business units to close gaps.
• Conduct risk reviews and socialize recommendations across teams.
• Collaborate with locations to develop integrated risk solutions and best practices.
