Job summary

Goldman Sachs' GBM Private Non-Financial Risk Management team seeks a proactive risk professional to help manage and enhance our risk profile across operations and technology.

You will analyze risk metrics, assess incidents, and develop automation and AI-driven insights to strengthen controls. A 4-year degree in a finance/quantitative discipline is preferred, with 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of professional experience in risk management or related governance roles.
• Experience in non-financial risk disciplines such as operational risk / enterprise risk / compliance / audit is preferred.
• 4-year degree in finance, accounting, or quantitative discipline; graduate degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on key risk metrics (KRIs/KPIs), identifying automation opportunities.
• Prepare risk management conclusions for GBM senior management and stakeholders.
• Investiga incidents and assess residual risks with business units after issues are identified.
• Conduct risk reviews and propose control improvements to close gaps.
• Challenge the existing risk and control framework to enhance governance and automation.
• Identify and implement automation and AI/machine learning to streamline risk processes and data quality.
