Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Risk Advisory Services Principal to lead the national Practice across multiple US locations. The role focuses on risk governance, internal controls, IT risk, and strategic client advisory, driving growth and overall profitability.

You will develop and execute business plans, mentor teams, and collaborate with marketing to pursue new engagements while delivering exceptional service to clients and establishing strong relationships with executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, AIS, or related field required.
• CPA or CIA designation required.
• 12+ years of risk advisory, internal/external audit, or related experience.
• 7+ years of supervisory experience and mentoring.
• Proven track record of building and growing a Risk Advisory practice and new business development.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Risk Advisory practice.
• Translate firm vision into actionable plans with clear objectives.
• Develop sales and marketing plans with the marketing team.
• Oversee profitability, resource utilization, and timely fees.
• Lead client interactions to identify and manage risks.
• Deliver executive summaries and reports to clients.
• Travel to client engagements as required.
