The 12 to 18 month developmental assignment aims to prepare associates for Store Manager opportunities within Walmart US store operations.

The role requires leadership, budgeting, and analytic skills, with mobility within the assigned region for Store Manager placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management or an equivalent with leadership experience in retail/operations.
• Alternatively 4 years of management experience in retail/operations with financial accountability.
• CBC/Firearms background check where applicable per policy.

• Assist in managing store financial performance and budgeting processes.
• Lead staffing plans, talent pipelines, and succession planning.
• Support community outreach and build partnerships.
• Coach and develop hourly associates and managers for performance.
